Contact the event host directly with any questions about an event.

Our "Hanover Community Calendar" is populated with events submitted by you! This calendar highlights non-profit, special and neighbor events all across our area.

Hosting an event? If you, or an area organization, is hosting an event let us know. Event postings should follow these parameters:

    1. The event must take place within Hanover County OR be hosted by a Hanover Chamber member
    2. The event must be community focused and intended to provide support, fundraising, care or fun to area residents and chamber members
    3. Note this calendar is not intended for reoccurring seminars or group meetings, sales events or workshops given by individual for-profit companies

    When you submit events, please be sure to include the date, time, location/address, web link and an image or logo. Community calendar postings that fit our criteria will be made publicly visible on our website and in newsletters within a week of being sent to us; send events 4-6 weeks in advance for maximum exposure.       Join for a festive day and shopping at the Mechanicsville High School Band Boosters 40th Annual Holiday Bazaar & Craft Show on Saturday, November 9th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

      Immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere filled with a wide array of unique crafts and holiday treasures. With many talented vendors, you’ll find everything from handmade jewelry and artwork to delicious homemade treats and seasonal decorations. The Mechanicsville High School Band will also have concessions available for sale, a silent auction, and a bake sale.

      This is the perfect opportunity to support not only the Mechanicsville High School Band, but local artisans as well. Plus, find one-of-a-kind gifts for your loved ones.

      This event is indoors (rain or shine) at Mechanicsville High School and is free to the public.

      3rd annual Hanover County Caregiver Expo will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 9:00am -12:30pm at The Montpelier Library and Recreation Center.  There will be approximately 30+ exhibitors, 2 guest speakers (Fire/EMS will present on the new SPARC Program & At Home Harmony will present on the new Medicare Guide Program, that provides annual funding for caregivers of individuals with a dementia) as well as a panel presentation.  The event will also include refreshments and door prizes.
